Mongolians pay tribute to the heroes of World War II

Today, On May 9, Mongolians are commemorating the 73rd Anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany during World War II. On this historic day wreath laying ceremonies took place at the Memorial to Soviet Soldiers at Zaisan Hill and Monument of Marshal G.K.Zhukov, four time Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Mongolia.
The ceremonies were attended by Defense Minister N.Enkhbold, Chief of the General Staff of Mongolian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General D.Davaa, officials from Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassies of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, children of war heroes, students and pupils from Russian kindergartens, high schools and universities.
