Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 12, B.Battsetseg, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, received David Sproule, Ambassador of Canada to Mongolia. The latter will present his diplomatic credentials to the President soon.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the Mongolia-Canada relations and cooperation have been widening, and noted the countries have a chance to boost the economic ties. She also emphasized the importance of the cooperation in the agricultural sector besides the mining industry. She asked the Ambassador to focus attention to the protection of women's rights and backing women in countryside for doing their business.
Saying that Canada attaches great importance to the relations and cooperation with Mongolia, the Ambassador expressed his aspiration to broadening the bilateral ties in many sectors.
