Our Nandinzaya IMS wins first medal in rifle at ISSF World Cup
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A shooter of the national team of Mongolia G.Nandinzaya IMS has captured a bronze medal in the women’s 50m 3 positions rifle contest at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun, which is running in Rio de Janeiro of Brazil.
This is first ever medal for Mongolia to win in rifle event of the ISSF World Cup. Our Nandinzaya has already been qualified for participation in the 2016 Olympic in this type.
In the finals, held April 22, she came to the final round with 589 points and grabbed the bronze medal after collecting 443.3 points. A gold medal went to a Croatian Snjezana Pejcic, the silver--to Barbara Engleder from Germany.
