Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ D. Bilegdorj, Mongolia’s Ambassador to Vietnam called on Pham Binh Minh, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister on November 16 to discuss about Mongolia-Vietnam traditional relations and cooperation.
At the meeting, the sides noted that bilateral political relations have activated and high-level visits have been constant. They agreed to advance bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and investment, and to realize issues reached to agreement previously. For instance, they pointed out the need to move forward an issue on mutual supply of deep-frozen meat and meat products from Mongolia and deep-frozen chicken, pork and sea products from Vietnam, which was agreed during the 16th meeting of Mongolia-Vietnam intergovernmental commission held last August in Ulaanbaatar.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador D. Bilegdorj congratulated the Vietnamese side for successful organization of APEC Summit and shared views on visits and actions to be taken in near future in a scope of the bilateral relations.
