Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj presents credentials to President of Albania

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from Mongolia to the Republic of Albania, Ts.Jambaldorj presented his letter of credence to the President of Albania, Ilir Meta on February 7.
 
After presenting his credentials, the Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj paid a courtesy call on President Ilir Meta. At the beggining of the meeting, Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj conveyed greetings of the President of Mongolia, Kh.Battulga to the President of Albania. He pledged to make his efforts for intensifying bilateral political relations and for developing bilateral economic and business cooperation during his term of office. Ambassador, also suggested to marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Mongolia and Albania by co-organizing cultural events, business forums that would have tangible results.
In requesting to convey greetings to his Mongolian counterpart as well, President Ilir Meta emphasized that he will promote all activities of the Albanian government and agencies aimed at fostering further bilateral relations. He also noted that as the first European country to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia, Albania is willing to sign an intergovernmental agreement on supporting mutual investment and avoiding double taxation. The Albanian leader also pointed out an importance of building mutually beneficial effective cooperation.The meeting was attended by the Ambassador's wife G.Dulamsuren, II Secretary of the Embassy Sh.Amgaabazar, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Etjen Xhafaj, Diplomatic advisor of the President Valter Ibrahimi, Chief of State Protocol of Albania Dastid Koreshi.


Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj met with the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament Gramoz Ruçi, the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Etjen Xhafaj and exchanged views on further bilateral relations and cooperation.
