National Forum on 'Plants, Plant Based Foods Safety' opens

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Mongolian State University of Life Sciences, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation are co-organizing the forum. Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry J.Saule, President of Mongolian State University of Life Sciences T.Kheruuga, Deputy Director of General Agency for Specialized Investigation D.Enkhsaikhan opened the forum.
The two-day forum will discuss quality and safety of plant based foods, state policies, health effects of chemicals used in food and vegetables and its control, issues faced by the producers and capacity building for human resources.
