Mongolian delegates attend Spring Meetings of IMF and WB Group

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Mongolian delegates led by Finance Minister Ch.Khurelbaatar participated in the 2018 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Washington DC on April 16-22.
The Spring Meetings of the IMF and World Bank Group each year bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development and aid effectiveness. During the event, many seminars, regional briefings, press conference and others were organized, focusing on global economy, international development and the world’s financial system.
Mongolian delegates held meetings with authorities and specialists of the IMF and the WB and reviewed bilateral cooperation over the past half-year, introduced Mongolia’s economic and fiscal conditions in the first quarter of 2018 and consulted about further actions.
