Border checkpoints to close during Naadam Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the National Naadam Festival and the 97th anniversary of the People’s Revolution, Mongolia-China and Mongolia-Russia border checkpoints will close in accordance with the intergovernmental agreements.
Mongolia- Russia border checkpoint Tsagaannuur-Tashanta will not operate between July 11 and 15. While border check points Tes- Shar suur, Khankh – Mond, Ulikhan –Deed ulikhan, Borshoo – Khandgait and Artssuuri – Tsagaantolgoi will not work from July 10 and 13.
Mongolia- Russia border checkpoint Tsagaannuur-Tashanta will not operate between July 11 and 15. While border check points Tes- Shar suur, Khankh – Mond, Ulikhan –Deed ulikhan, Borshoo – Khandgait and Artssuuri – Tsagaantolgoi will not work from July 10 and 13.
Mongolia – People’s Republic of China border checkpoints will not be operated from July 11-15 in accordance with the 2004 Governmental agreement between Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China on Border Checkpoints and its regulations.
However, international railway and flights will be conducted on regular schedules.
