‘Coal Mongolia-2018’ conference opens

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The ‘Coal Mongolia-2018’ international coal trade and investment conference opened at the Shangri La Hotel Ulaanbaatar on September 4. About 600 representatives from 15 countries are attending the 8th Coal Mongolia conference.
 
The conference is being organized jointly with China’s coal market research company ‘Fenwei Energy Information Services’. Organizers highlighted that the collaboration with China’s most reputable company promotes the growth of Chinese transportation, logistics, trade companies and investors, who is interested in buying coal from Mongolia.

This year's conference features with discussions on issues regarding improvement of competitiveness and exportability.

A total of six presentation will be introduced and discussed. The key presentations of the day include the ‘China coking coal market, supply, demand, price and competition’ by the Vice President of the Fenwei Energy Information Services Sarah Liu, ‘Navigating through transition’ by Senior Analyst of the Asia-Pacific Mining & Metals Fundamentals Research ‘Wood Mackenzie Group’ Pralabh Bhargava and ‘Importing trend of China coking coal’ by Asia Regional Metals Content Director of the ‘S&P Global Platts’ Julien Hall respectively.
