Summer reception of the German-Mongolian Business Community 2018

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ German Embassy Ulaanbaatar and German-Mongolian Business Association (DMUV) jointly organized the Summer Reception of the German-Mongolian Business Community in the garden of German Embassy on September 7, 2018.
The reception involved more than 200 guests, including representatives of German and Mongolian enterprises, international organizations as well as delegates from the Mongolian government.
The relaxed atmosphere provided an extraordinary opportunity to get into contact and extend existing relations to business partners and official representatives. His Excellency Mr. Stefan Duppel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia and Chairman of the Board of German-Mongolian Business Association, Dr. Oliver Schnorr, welcomed the guests on the day of event. Honored guest and member of the State Great Khural Mr L. Bold underlined the importance of the German-Mongolian Economic Relations in his subsequent speech. Furthermore, he pointed out that both countries should extend the already excellent knowledge and know-how transfer to learn and profit mutually from their individual experiences.
Besides the official speeches, the guests enjoyed a rich program including the election of the German-Mongolian Cooperation Award 2018, a raffle and music.
The Summer Reception of the German-Mongolian Business Community is an event of DMUV with active support of the German Embassy. The event was conducted for the first time in 2017. Because of the event’s great success, both organizers decided to reorganize it in 2018.
