Policies on using renewable energy introduced

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia's parliamentary delegates headed by Deputy Speaker of the Parliament L.Enkh-Amgalan are attending the Second World Parliamentary Forum on Sustainable Development under theme ‘Partnership towards Sustainable Energies for All’ taking place on September 12-13 in Bali, Indonesia. The forum brought together a total 244 delegates from 50 countries.
 
In his speech at the forum's opening, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament L.Enkh-Amgalan expressed gratitude to the host of the forum for giving opportunities to exchange views with parliamentarians of other countries, to share experience, to discuss world pressing issues as well as to define new cooperation directions and ways and he briefed about Mongolia’s policies and actions on providing sustainable energies for all, especially renewable energy.  
 
The forum is running under four plenary meetings ‘Responsible energy consumption and production for sustainable cities and communities’, ‘Quality education and technology towards green industry’, ‘Women participation and sustainable energy’, ‘The way forward: parliamentary action for universal access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy'.
