Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On March 15, deputy Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg met with Ina Marčiulionytė, Non-resident Lithuanian Ambassador to Mongolia to discuss about bilateral relations and cooperation.
At the meeting, they affirmed bilateral interest and potentiality to develop relations and cooperation in food, agriculture, information technology and environment sectors and underlined an importance of support in establishing contacts between businessmen of the two countries.
During her stay in Ulaanbaatar, the Ambassador is holding several meetings with authorities of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Mongolia’s National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Communications and Information Technology Authority and ‘Women for Change’ NGO.
Last year, two projects on food safety and gender equality were implemented successfully for the first time in Mongolia in the scope of Lithuania’s development cooperation.
In connection with 100th anniversary of Restoration of Lithuania’s Independence occurring this year, the Ambassador Ina Marčiulionytė together with S.Boldbaatar, Lithuanian Honorary Consul in Mongolia, organized a celebratory event.
