Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the traditional Nauryz festival of Kazakhs, Parliament Speaker N.Enkhbold extends his warm greetings.
The message reads, “It has become my tradition to greet you on March 22 every year to share your joy, and I hope it will go on in the years to come. The Nauryz holiday is said to have been celebrated even before the inception of alphabets. Therefore, Nauryz is not only a celebration for the Kazakh people, but also the humanity.
The Parliament and Government have always paid attention to the improvement of legal environment on the preservation of Kazakh culture, the language and history, and this policy will continue. Furthermore, the state policy is inclusive of the development of industry and business in Bayan-Ulgii aimag, improvement of infrastructure, ensuring the rights of Kazakhs to education and life and enhancement of their livelihood.
The Kazakhs are spread across over 40 countries around the world, and Mongolian Kazakhs have preserved their culture and tradition in its most original form. This is a contribution of you, your ancestors and Mongolia to the world culture, and an indication of how the Mongolian state policy towards the Kazakh minority has been effective. Happy Nauryz!”
Nauryz means a ‘new day’, and it represents New Year to the Kazakhs.
