Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia and Head of the Human Resource Development Center of South Korea signed three-year Memorandum of cooperation.
Head of Vocational Education and Training Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection A.Khaliun said, "By signing the Memorandum of Cooperation, we are now able to invite Korean teachers for empowering Mongolian team members who will participate in the World Skills Competition and organize trainings and workshops, as well as train vocational education and training centers’ students in South Korea. Three teachers and three students will be trained in Korea each year until 2020. Trainings for cook, teacher and hairdresser were carried out recently. Also, Mongolian team which will participate in the World Skills Competition that will be held in September, 2019 is being trained. The memorandum has many benefits such as training Mongolian team for the competition, promoting Mongolian professionals in the world and giving students chance to acquire double profession, enhance and assess their skills and upgrade their rank. Thus, job opportunities for the empowered vocational school students will increase."
