Development center for children with disabilities opens in Gobi-Altai

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The ‘Development Center for Children’ to provide equal opportunities for children with disabilities which was established by the Wagner Asia with the support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) opened at the School No.2 of Yesunbulag soum of Gobi-Altai aimag on September 14.


Deputy Governor the aimag J.Ganbat, Head of the aimag’s Governor’s Office Ch.Bat-Erdene, expert of the Secondary Education Policy Department at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports J.Myagmar, Director of the School No.2 D.Shuubanza, Senior expert of the UNICEF B.Bolorchimeg and member of the Social Responsibility Committee at the Wagner Asia A.Ariuntuul attended the opening.


“The center was equipped jointly by the UNICEF with standard furniture and equipment worth over MNT 20 million over two months. Wagner Asia has implemented a number of projects and programs, but it was our first project for disabled children in rural area,” said member of the Social Responsibility Committee at the company A.Ariuntuul.


Over 20 children with disabilities are currently studying the School No.2.
