State Secretary G.Nandinjargal meets representatives of K-Petro
Economy | MiningUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 18, State Secretary of the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry G.Nandinjargal
met with a delegation headed by the Management Executive Director of the Korea
Petroleum Quality & Distribution Authority (K-Petro).
At the meeting, State Secretary
G.Nandinjargal expressed pleasure at the successful bilateral cooperation under
the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Mineral Resources and Petroleum
Authority and the K-Petro, requesting to cooperate in creating a comprehensive quality
management system for petroleum products in Mongolia and providing technical
and technological support for inspection and testing laboratories.
K-Petro's management executive director briefed the State Secretary about the
bilateral cooperation, established in 2016, as well as further works to be carried out,
expressing hope for expansion of the Mongolia-South Korea cooperation in oil industry.
G.Nandinjargal noted the Ministry is planning to
establish fuel quality control laboratory in rural areas and purchase mobile
laboratory and requested the authority to provide technical assistance in creating
electronic data system for petroleum products.
