Foreign Minister meets US Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar met with United States Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Samuel Dale Brownback.
Mr. Samuel Brownback remarked his meeting with Foreign
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar during the Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom in
July and expressed gratitude to Mongolia for attaching great significance to
the activities following the Ministerial and appointing an ambassador-at-large for
religious freedom at its Ministry of Foreign Affairs while stating readiness to
cooperate.
Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar emphasized the importance of
strengthening global unity and peace through religion, noting Mongolia
treasures religious freedom. He also informed the country is planning to hold the
Asian Buddhist Conference for Peace in Ulaanbaatar next year, expressing his hope for
the participation of similar organizations of the United States.
