Electronic health record to be introduced

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Under the E-Health project of the
Ministry of Health and the World Bank, an e-health training for the medical statisticians is being held at the conference hall of the Corporate Hotel on
September 26-27. Statisticians of the health facilities are attending the training.
The project will create a national
electronic health record which will be secured at the National data Center.
Moreover, Health Information Exchange platform will be established, formulating
a new electronic information system for the sector. The training is being organized
as maternity hospitals or departments are to issue national identification numbers.
Under the project, over 330 soums’ health centers and more
than 240 family medical centers have been respectively provided with four
computers and three employees of each organization have received computer training.
The project is being carried out between June, 2016 and September, 2020, according to the Project coordinator S.Enkhbold.
