Cabinet meeting news in briefPolitics
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on October 17, the Cabinet made the following decisions:
- The Cabinet backed General Agreement on Export Loan project to be established between the Governments of Mongolia and the Republic of Belarus and agreed to discuss with corresponding Parliamentary Standing Committees. Governments of the two countries will define the projects to be financed with the loan of EUR 50 million and it is planned to supply fire engine and equipment to the National Emergency Management Agency.
-This year, 27 kindergartens, 12 schools, seven gyms and dormitories are expected to put into operation. Within the Action Plan of the Government for 2016-2020, MNT 262.7 billion was allocated for total 325 projects and programs in the fields of education, culture and sports. As of October 9, 22.5 percent or MNT 59.1 billion has been financed.
- Mongolia will be represented to Expo 2020 Dubai which will be held in the United Arab Emirates on October 20 to April 10, 2021. The universal exposition has a purpose to create a platform to develop creativity, new ideas, inventions and collaboration. Some 170 countries submitted their request to the expo.
