Ambassador Tulga attends MINEX Eurasia Forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador of Mongolia to the United Kingdom H.E. Mr. N.Tulga has delivered an opening remark at the 7th MINEX Eurasia Mining and Investment Forum on November 23, 2018 which took place in London.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Tulga emphasized on the recent changes in the economic condition of Mongolia and provided a brief update on the mining sector development.
Mongolia’s economy grew at an annualized 6.4 percent
third quarter of 2018 and shrug off the near deflation rate of 1.2 percent
growth in 2016. S&P Global Ratings raised Mongolia’s sovereign credit
rating to ‘B’ from ‘B minus’ and assigned a stable outlook.
Improved sovereign credit rating means Mongolia’s investment environment is improving and the growth outlook remains favourable for Mongolia.
Ambassador H.E. Mr. Tulga encouraged participants to invest in Mongolian rich mineral resource sector.
Moreover, Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and
“Erdenes Tavantolgoi” (State owned Company) representative participated in the
forum. ETT Company also showcased its “Tavan Tolgoi” project
potential IPO presentation at the forum.
