Role of think tanks discussed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On January 31, a discussion was held under the theme ‘Fact and Importance of Think Tanks’.
The discussion was organized under the initiatives of the Economic Policy and Competitiveness Research center with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
It was held in the frames of the introduction of an annual Global Go To Think Tank Index which is produced by Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, 255 Think Tanks from 75 countries organized the event simultaneously in their countries respectively.
Think Tank or Policy Research Institute is an organization that conducts policy researches, formulates possible solutions and options based on the outcome of the research, and further recommends it to legislative and executive branches of government.
