Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Winner of Miss Mongolia M.Tsevelmaa who represented Mongolia in ‘Miss World 2019’ pageant has been ranked in the top 3 for the Multimedia Award alongside top 6 for talent, and top 10 for the nomination, ‘Beauty With a Purpose’. Contestants of 130 countries competed in the pageant.

For her performance in the talent nomination, she performed khuumii (throat singing), biyelgee (traditional folk dance), and the morin khuur (horse fiddle) on the international stage, promoting the national culture and heritage of Mongolia.

Furthermore, as Tsevelmaa had previously implemented a project, ‘Healthy Mongolia-Healthy World’, aimed at reducing the number of cases for liver diseases in Mongolia, she finished in the top 10 of the ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ nomination, acquiring financing from the Miss World pageant.

Alongside doing promotions for prevention of liver diseases, Miss M.Tsevelmaa involved 486 citizens in vaccination, and organized a crowdfunding campaign for the liver transplant surgery of a 17-year-old girl. She has also worked on bringing private health insurance online, which enables citizens to be involved in preventive health checkups, making health insurance easily accessible.
