Capital city reports 50 new cases of COVID-19

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The National Center for Communicable Diseases has reported today that a total of 12,250 people were involved in the PCR testing nationwide since yesterday, resulting in a detection of 50 positive cases of COVID-19 in Ulaanbaatar city.

All of the newly detected cases were identified among close contacts of previously confirmed cases as well as from cluster infections in Ulaanbaatar, including Mix Pizza delivery service and Narcology Hospital.

No new infections were recorded in other provinces. 

As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 2073, with 1,493 recoveries.
