Otgontenger Mountain takes cloud form
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Near the center of Zavkhan aimag, clouds have formed into a shape depicting the image of Otgontenger Mountain. The fact that this “miracle” happened at the hour of the Horse (between 11.40 and 13.40) of the fortunate third day of the lunar new year (February 11) received great attention from public, considered a “good omen”.
The Mount of Otgontenger Mountain, elevated 4021 meters above sea level, is the highest point of Khangai Mountains. Oddly, rainbows occurred in the southeast, the mountain side, from the aimag center on the fortunate eighth day of the last two lunar years.
Locals consider the good omen as a sign of prosperity of the people in the Year of the Fire Monkey (2016).
