Taiwan donates hospital garments and PPE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On October 2, Representative at the Taipei Trade and Economic Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar Grace Lo presented 5,000 hospital garments and 20,000 personal protective equipment, worth a total of USD 400,000 to the National Center for Communicable Diseases.


Expressing gratitude for the donation being given from Taiwan, NCCD Director D.Nyamkhuu informed that the center regularly communicates with the National Taiwan University Hospital to exchange practices. The doctors and medical specialists of the two hospitals held an online video conference on September 22, with another planned for October 6.


The Representative Office also presented 10 types of medical tools and equipment, such as blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, defibrillator, first aid kid, examination bed, and wheelchair to the Customs Administration of Ulaanbaatar city.
