Mongolian Deputy Foreign Minister Receives Chinese Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar, January 1, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Amartuvshin Gombosuren received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia, Shen Minjuan, on December 30, 2025.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the outset of the meeting, Deputy Minister Amartuvshin emphasized that relations with China are one of the key priorities of Mongolia’s foreign policy and expressed his commitment to working closely with the Ambassador to further expand and develop bilateral relations and cooperation.
Ambassador Shen Minjuan congratulated Amartuvshin on his appointment as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and noted that she was pleased to resume working with him. The ambassador also expressed her readiness to work together to further develop the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
During the
meeting, the two sides exchanged views on priority areas for advancing
Mongolia–China relations and cooperation, as well as on planned visits and
joint activities to be implemented in 2026.
