'The MongolZ' Coach maaRaa, Captain bLitz Advance to HLTV Awards Finals

Ulaanbaatar, January 2, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Finalists have been announced for the HLTV Awards, which honor the year’s best players in “Counter-Strike 2” esports.


Winners will be selected across seven categories. From Mongolia, Erdenedalai “maaRaa” Bayanbat, coach of The MongolZ, has advanced to the finals in the “Coach of the Year” category. In the “IGL of the Year” category, Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren placed among the top three finalists out of 11 contenders.


The awards ceremony will be held on January 10, 2026, in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia. The MongolZ concluded 2025 ranked sixth in the world.


Meanwhile, the team has announced the departure of Unudelger “controlez” Baasanjargal. Anarbilg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar, who previously played for "The Huns", has officially joined the roster.
