Views Exchanged on Creating Stable Business Environment

Ulaanbaatar, January 21, 2026 /MONTSAME/. During the 56th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Prime Minister Zandanshatar Gombojav met with the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Korea, Yeo Han-koo.
At the meeting, they exchanged views on coordinating
high-level visits between the two countries and cooperating to create a stable
business environment. They also discussed organizing high-level events based on
the close ties established with the Ban Ki-moon Foundation.
Prime Minister Zandanshatar also gave an interview to Maekyung
Media Group, one of the leading media organizations of the Republic of Korea.
He spoke with the group’s editor about Mongolia’s participation in the World
Economic Forum, as well as Mongolia–Korea trade, economic cooperation, and
people-to-people relations.
Held under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue,” this year’s
Forum has brought together more than 3,000 participants, including heads of
state and government from over 100 countries, leaders of international
organizations, major corporations, and representatives of civil society.
For Mongolia, participation at the highest level in the Forum is significant in establishing direct engagement with global political and economic decision-makers, promoting the country’s investment climate, attracting international support and investment for government-led projects and programs, and expanding new partnerships.
