Mongolian Team from ‘Physical: Asia’ Awarded MNOC’s ‘Golden Star’

Ulaanbaatar, January 21, 2026 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian team, which placed second after competing in strength and endurance against teams from seven Asian countries in the “Physical: Asia” show, organized by the leading global streaming platform Netflix, has been awarded the Mongolian National Olympic Committee’s (MNOC) highest honor, the “Golden Star.”


IOC Member and President of the MNOC, Battushig Batbold, and MNOC Secretary General, Badar-Uugan Enkhbat, presented the award. At the award ceremony, it was emphasized that through their achievement, endurance, and teamwork on “Physical: Asia,” the Mongolian team successfully showcased the development of sports in Mongolia and the high skill level of its athletes on the international stage. It was also noted that their outstanding physical strength, resilience, and teamwork demonstrated strong potential to achieve even greater success in future international competitions.


The “Golden Star” is an honorary award presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of sports and Olympism, won medals at the Olympic Games, and promoted Mongolia to the world.
