Mongolian Dinosaur Exhibition to Open in Czech Museum

/MONTSAME/. Minister
of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia Undram Chinbat has received the
Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Mongolia, Yan Vytopil, and exchanged views
on bilateral cooperation in the cultural, sports, and tourism sectors.
During the meeting, Minister
Undram proposed cooperation in developing the discipline of hockey in Mongolia
within the framework of implementing the memorandum of understanding to
cooperate in the sports sector, established between the two countries in 2025. Ambassador
Yan Vytopil accepted the hockey development proposal, expressing a willingness
to cooperate in improving archers’ skills.
Noting the success of the “Chinggis
Khaan” exhibition, showcased at the Czech National Museum in commemoration of the
75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia
and the Czech Republic, the two sides planned to present an exhibition in 2027
at the same museum, showcasing dinosaur fossils discovered in Mongolia.
Minister of Undram highlighted further
plans to produce a documentary film for the dinosaur exhibition set to open in
June 2027, expressing confidence that the opening will be a significant event, attracting
thousands of viewers and promoting Mongolia abroad.
