Mongolian Para Armwrestlers Win Seven Medals at World Cup

Ulaanbaatar, February 4, 2026 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian para-armwrestlers won seven medals at the Para-Armwrestling World Cup held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.


Mongolia was represented by four athletes, all of whom returned home with medals. In the -90 kg category, Khuslen Ts. won two gold medals, while Yesukhei O. claimed one silver and two bronze medals in the +90 kg division. In the 55 kg category, Tugsbold M. secured a silver medal, and Namuundul B. won bronze in the 80 kg category.


The Mongolian Armwrestling Federation noted that this achievement has become a significant source of inspiration for young people engaged in the sport and for persons with disabilities. This marks the first time that Mongolian para-athletes have won medals in arm wrestling.
