Mongolia, Russia to Increase Access to Physical Education

/MONTSAME/. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth,
Dashnyam Ganzorig, met with Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation,
Mikhail Vladimirovich Degtyarev, on February 10, 2026, in Moscow, Russia.
Leadership of relevant
organizations and other relevant officials from the two countries attended the
meeting and exchanged views on sectoral relations and other matters relating to
cooperation.
The two parties agreed to mutually
facilitate the participation of athletes in sports events organized in both
countries, including competitions in judo, freestyle wrestling, and basketball.
They also agreed to cooperate in strengthening human resource capacity in the
field of physical education and sports, as well as in increasing access to
physical education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy
Minister Dashnyam and Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Degtyarev
signed the “Action Plan for Cooperation in the Field of Physical Culture and
Sports between the Two Countries for 2026-2028.”
The two parties also plan to further expand sectoral cooperation in 2026-2028 and to jointly organize various sports activities and competitions.
