Skier Achbadrakh B. Places 85th at Milano Cortina 2026

Ulaanbaatar, February 14, 2026 /MONTSAME/. The men’s 10 km interval start cross-country skiing race of the 25th Winter Olympic Games was held at the cross-country skiing venue in Tesero, where International Master of Sport Achbadrakh Batmunkh finished in 85th place.

Out of 113 skiers who started the race, 111 reached the finish line. Mongolian skier Achbadrakh completed the course in 25:32.8, placing 85th. He finished ahead of 28 athletes from Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia, Argentina, Liechtenstein, Chile, Slovakia, Iran, Croatia, Nigeria, Moldova, Brazil, Venezuela, Portugal, Turkey, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, India, Morocco, Mexico, Iran, Taiwan, Lebanon, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Ecuador, Lithuania, and Spain.

Representing Mongolia, Achbadrakh qualified for the Winter Olympics for the third time. Having competed in three events at these Olympic Games, he has now concluded his participation.

In the 10 km race on February 13, 2026, Norway’s famous skier Johannes Klæbo clocked 20:36.2 to win his third gold medal at the Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. With this achievement, he drew level with his compatriots Bjørn Dæhlie, Ole Einar Bjørndalen, and Marit Bjørgen. The silver and bronze medals were won by France’s Mathis Desloges and Norway’s Einar Hedegart, respectively.
