President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa Works in Khentii Aimag

Ulaanbaatar, February 16, 2026 /MONTSAME/. President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa met with residents and workers of Khentii aimag and provided a brief overview of the country’s current socio-economic situation, as well as the policies and measures being implemented by the Government.
During the visit, the President conferred the honorary title of Honored Teacher upon veteran teacher Tsedennyam Z. of the First General Education School of Khentii aimag, and awarded Gansukh L., Chair of the “Undrakh Bul” Cooperative, the title of Honored Industrial Worker.



The President congratulated the recipients of state high titles, orders, and medals, as well as their families and colleagues, and extended his greetings on the occasion of the upcoming Year of the Fire Horse, “Sureer Daragch.”



President Khurelsukh also met with residents of Batnorov soum in Khentii aimag and presented the title of Honored Herder to Ganbat B., a herder from Bayanbulag bagh.
Together with his wife, Ariunbileg P., Ganbat B. has been engaged in herding livestock for nearly 30 years. Over the past three years, they have successfully raised 100–110 offspring per 100 breeding animals, and by the end of 2025, their herd had reached 1,229 head of livestock.

During the last three years, he has supported 10 households with few or no livestock, helping them build herds totaling 620 head, and has trained six apprentice herders. Ganbat B. previously received the titles of Soum Honored Herder in 2016 and Aimag Honored Herder in 2020.


President Khurelsukh also conferred the title of State Honored Milkmaid upon Bayarmaa Ts., a milkmaid from Onon bagh of Dadal soum in Khentii aimag.
Bayarmaa Ts. has consistently expanded her herd year after year and owned 350 head of livestock by the end of 2025. She has milked between 47,500 and 93,800 liters annually, supplying dairy products to the market while also sharing her expertise with young herders and training two apprentices.

She received the titles of Soum Honored Milkmaid in 2021, and Aimag Honored Milkmaid in 2023, and in 2025 was recognized as the “Golden Calf Owner” by Mongolian National Public Radio and Television.
