Foreign Ministry Issues Advisory for Mongolian Citizens in the Middle East

Ulaanbaatar, March 3, 2026 /MONTSAME/. In connection with the current situation between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia (MFA) has issued the following advisory to Mongolian citizens residing in those countries and across the Middle East region.
The advisory
recommends that citizens:
1. Strictly
follow safety advisories, instructions, and regulations issued by the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs and other relevant authorities of their country of
residence;
2. Refrain from traveling to other cities or countries until the situation stabilizes;
3. Maintain regular contact with the nearest Mongolian diplomatic mission and provide updated information, including contact phone numbers, email addresses, and current residential address;
4. Keep their
passports, cash, and other essential personal belongings close at hand and
ensure preparedness to return to Mongolia or relocate to a safe area if
necessary.
