Khan Bank support athletes who will compete in 2016 Olympics
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Khan Bank has contributed to the Olympic Development Fund and commenced a campaign to support Mongolian athletes who will take part in the 31st Summer Olympic Games to be held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 2016.
The Olympic Development Fund started the Cup Journey for the purpose of supporting Mongolian athletes and collecting funds for them from across the nation. Khan Bank, a consistent supporter of sports, started the campaign promoted by the Mongolian Banking Association, which appeals to the commercial banks.
Within the framework of the Olympic Development Fund Cup Journey, Khan Bank has organized the Volleyball Cup among over 100 employees from the Bank of Mongolia and commercial banks and presented awards to the best male and female players.
Every year, Khan Bank organizes eight different types of competitions among its 2,000-plus employees for the purpose of promoting physical culture and Olympic sports within the bank.
Khan Bank has been supporting sports, which can be further seen through the Bank’s sponsorship of the Mongolian Steppe International Marathon, the Asian Individual Deaf Chess Champoinship and World Judo Championship in 2015.
“We wish every success to the Mongolian athletes who will take part in the 2016 Summer Olympics. Let us hope that the Mongolian flag is raised to the Brazilian sky many times”, writes Khan Bank.
