Social insurance statistics in 2015
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The revenue of Social Insurance Fund (SIF) amounted to MNT 1,500.3 billion in 2015, reflecting an increase of MNT 113.1 billion or 8.2% and the expenditure of the SIF reached MNT 1,560.4 billion, showing an increase MNT 259.2 billion or 19.9% against the previous year.
In December 2015, the SIF’s revenue amounted to MNT 194.1 billion, increasing by MNT 62.8 billion or 47.8% and the SIF’s expenditure reached MNT 143.2 billion, showing an increase of MNT 6.8 billion or 5.0% against the previous month.
In 2015, totally MNT 153.8 billion was granted to 199.6 thousand people for pensions and welfare benefits from Social Welfare Fund (SWF), and the number of people received pensions and welfare benefits decreased by MNT 8.8 thousand people or 4.2%. Amount of pensions and allowances increased by MNT 11.2 billion or 7.9% against the previous year.
In December 2015, amount of social welfare allowances and pensions reached MNT 18.2 billion, showing an increase of MNT 5.9 billion or 48.7% from previous month and the social welfare benefits and concessions amounted to MNT 11.8 billion, showing an increase of MNT 4.8 billion or 69.3% from previous month.
In 2015, money of MNT 225.7 billion was granted from the Human Development Fund (HDF) to 1,027.6 thousand children aged below 18 as cash benefits.
