Virtual meeting held with USOGE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A virtual meeting was organized yesterday between the Civil Service Council of Mongolia (CSC) and the United States Office of Government Ethics (USOGE).


The meeting was chaired by Director of the CSC B.Baatartsogt and Director of the USOGE Emory Rounds and attended by Mongolia’s Ambassador to the U.S. U.Batbayar and other relevant officials of the two organizations.


During the meeting, the two sides introduced their respective activities in detail and agreed to further exchange experiences and information.


The USOGE leads and oversees the executive branch ethics program which is at work every day in more than 130 agencies. The executive branch ethics program works to prevent financial conflicts of interest to help ensure government decisions are made free from personal financial bias.
