State Audit Office Implementing Digital Transformation Policies

Ulaanbaatar, November 12, 2025 /MONTSAME/. A trilateral meeting between State Auditor General Magnaisuren Sandag, representatives led by the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Resident Representative of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was held on November 11, 2025.

 

A delegation led by Almazbek Akmatov, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic, paid a working visit to Mongolia.

 

According to the National Audit Office of Mongolia, Auditor General S. Magnaisuren highlighted the close geographical, historical, and cultural ties between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, and wished success to the visiting delegation. He noted that the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) is encouraging member audit institutions to adopt artificial intelligence and technological innovations in auditing, with methodological support, in line with the priorities of both institutions. He added that the State Audit Office of Mongolia is implementing specific policies to support digital transformation and expressed readiness to share experience and best practices with the Kyrgyz counterpart to facilitate effective collaboration. He also acknowledged the ongoing projects implemented in partnership with the Asian Development Bank.

 

Almazbek Akmatov stated that the Accounts Chamber of Kyrgyzstan prioritizes adopting international best practices and regards technological advancement as the key to sustainable institutional development. He expressed confidence that close cooperation with the State Audit Office of Mongolia, recognized for its rapid digital transformation, will lay a new foundation for future development.

 

The Asian Development Bank emphasized that its support enhances opportunities for experience sharing and capacity building between the parties.
