‘Heritage carrier’ event held

The ‘Heritage carrier’ women's capacity building training and exhibition event
was held in Tarialan soum of Uvs aimag on September 4.
This event was
initiated by the ‘Kharkhiraan Khatad Association’, and organized jointly by the
Citizens Representatives Khural and Governor Administration Office of Tarialan
Soum of Uvs aimag, and the Integrated Mineral Resources Initiative Program of
GIZ financed by BMZ.
More than 90
representatives from 19 soums participated in this event. Due to the COVID-19
pandemic, most of the women have been staying at home while taking care of
their children and doing their crafts at home.
This event provided a
chance for women to exhibit and show their handmade crafts. Also, the
participants received training on how to increase the turn-over and earnings
through professional marketing of their handicraft products.
