Morin Khuur Ensemble to Perform "Mongol Music" Concert

Ulaanbaatar April 30, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The Morin Khuur Ensemble, Recipient of the Supreme Decoration of the Mongolian State, the Order of Chinggis Khaan, and Cultural Envoy of Mongolia, will present a concert titled "Mongol Music" on the stage of the Mongolian State Philharmonic on May 10, 2024.
The Ensemble will perform the works by Lecturer of the Department of Music Theory of the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture, Composer Erdenebat Tsendee. The performance will be conducted by Honored Cultural Figure of Mongolia D. Tuvshinsaikhan, Conductor of the Morin Khuur Ensemble.
Composer Erdenebat is a two-time Grand Prix winner of the Morin Khuur Festival and an eight-time prize-winner of the "Altan Namar" Music Festival. He has authored dozens of sonatas, serenades, elegies, and over 70 solo musical works, as well as more than 300 songs and five romances.
