Capital City Development Supreme Prizes awarded
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of Capital City Day, observed every October 29, Supreme Prizes of Capital City Development–State Gerege--were handed to the most excellent companies and groups that have contributed greatly to Ulaanbaatar’s growth in the passing year.
This year, 43 developments have competed for the grand prizes, while a number was at 20 in the first awards in 2013. This manifests the increasing reputation of the prizes, said a chairman of the Citizens’ Representatives Khural D.Battulga.
In 2013, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj issued a decree to award “State Gerege” supreme prizes.
An award to the best auto road construction went to “Och Naran” LLC that built 1.5km road connecting Narnii Road and 19th microdistrict northern road, two concrete bridges and fabrication of a tunnel.
Altanbulag Trade LLC won an award for building the 960-children’s school in Sukhbaatar district. More awards went to 11 national companies, operating in construction, steel frame and furniture manufacturing.
