422.6 million pieces of securities traded at national stock market in the first 11 months

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. In the first 11 months of 2019, 422.6 million pieces of securities worth of MNT156.7 billion were traded at the national stock market, which was decreased by MNT 79.8 billion (33.7%) compared to the same period of previous year. The number of traded securities decreased by 89.9 million pieces (17.5%) compared to the same period of previous year.
In November 2019, 11.8 million pieces of securities worth of MNT 20.0 billion were traded at the national stock market, which was increased by MNT 14.6 billion (3.6 -fold) compared to the same period of previous year. The number of traded securities decreased by 26.5 million pieces (69.1%) compared to the same period of previous year.
Trade of government bonds in
secondary markets amounted MNT 27.5 billion in the first 11 months of 2019,
which was decreased by MNT 121.5 billion (81.6%) compared to the same period of
2018. However, in November 2019, trade of government bonds in secondary markets
amounted MNT 82.4 million, which was decreased by MNT 466.2 million (85.0%)
from previous month.
In November 2019, average of top 20 indexes of the financial markets was 18 605.3 units, decreased by 8.2 units from the previous month and by 1446.6 units from the same period of 2018.
In November 2019, total value of joint stock companies operating at stock market reached MNT 2.5 trillion, increased by MNT 227.5 billion (9.9%) from the same period of previous year.
Monthly average exchange
rate of MNT to US dollars announced from Central Bank of Mongolia in November
2019 was MNT 2 705.26 to one USD, which was depreciated by 4.8% from the same
period of previous year and by 1.0% from the previous month.
Monthly average exchange
rate of MNT to Chinese Yuan announced from Central Bank of Mongolia in November
2019 was MNT 385.47 to one CNY, which was depreciated by 3.6% from the same
period of previous year and by 2.1% from the previous month.
Monthly average exchange
rate of MNT to Russian Ruble announced from Central Bank of Mongolia in
November 2019 was MNT 42.38 to one RUB, which was depreciated by 8.9% from the
same period of previous year and by 1.8% from the previous month.
