Warmer temperatures expected from February 3

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Snowfall is expected in the mountainous areas of Khentei on February 2 and 3, in northern parts of western aimags on February 4, and in northern parts of central and eastern aimags on February 5.
Wind speed will reach 14-16 m/sec in the Gobi and plains during most times.
Near Khurenbelchir, in the head of Zavkhan river, and in the basins of Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, and Khalkh rivers, the temperature will range from -34 to -39 degrees Celsius during the night, and -19 to -24 during the day.
In the depression of Uvs lake and Darkhad, in the mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, in the basins of Ider, Tes, Eg, Uur, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, and Ulz rivers, the temperature will be -28 to -33 during the night, and -15 to -20 during the day.
In regions of the country with little snow, the night-time temperature will be -12 to -17 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be -4 to +1 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, temperatures are expected to be -22 to -27 during the night, and -10 to -15 during the day. Warmer temperatures are expected from February 3.
