Youth I, II, III apartment complexes to be built in three centralized areas

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene
yesterday, May 10, informed that three centralized locations for building ‘Youth
I, II, III’ apartment complexes have been chosen.
In specific, ‘Youth I and II’ complexes are planned to be
constructed around Khushig Valley and Yarmag in Ulaanbaatar city while ‘Youth
III’ complex will be built in the rural area.
During his previous meeting with representatives of the
construction sector, the PM had pointed out the possibility to build low-cost,
high quality buildings by giving land free of charge for housing construction
based on lands that can be directly connected to infrastructure. The PM also
emphasized to involve the above apartment complexes in mortgage loan and other
programs within the policy to back construction sector.
Incidentally, a working group was set up at the Cabinet
meeting dated February 3, 2021 aimed at building Youth I, II, III apartment
complexes at phases. The working group is responsible to define proper and
optimal mechanism for organizing works to draw investment, urban planning,
infrastructure, land issue and construction and resolve it by the Cabinet.
