Cabinet meeting in brief

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At the Cabinet meeting yesterday,
October 27, the following issues were resolved.
- The Cabinet reviewed the result of a participation of President U.Khurelsukh in the General Debate of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 19-23, 2021 and tasked the Minister of Foreign Affairs to submit it to the National Security Council.
- The Cabinet discussed the issue of a loan given by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation to the ‘Ulaanbaatar Railway,’ a Mongolian-Russian joint venture, and decided to submit it to the Parliament for resolution.
- Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs briefed on the progress of activities of the Working Group aimed at reducing the Corruption Perceptions Index.
- Deputy Prime Minister S.Amarsaikhan and Minister of Construction and Urban Development B.Munkhbaatar were obliged to formulate a draft parliamentary resolution on the establishment of the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone within the fourth quarter of this year and bring it into a discussion at a Cabinet meeting.
