Mongolia, Israel hold interministerial consultative meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 6th Political Consultative
Meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Israel was held on May 25, 2022 in Jerusalem.
The meeting was chaired by Secretary
of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N.Ankhbayar and Deputy Director General in charge of Asia-Pacific affairs
of the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rafael Harpaz.
During the meeting, the sides
exchanged views on political, economic,
trade and investment cooperation between Mongolia and Israel, and mutually
affirmed their commitment to intensifying trade and
economic relations between the two countries. Within this frame, the
two sides discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in
innovation, cyber security, education, culture, food, agriculture as well as
the environment. Expressing
commitment to strengthening cooperation within the United Nations and other
international and regional organizations, the
sides exchanged views on timely international issues and other issues of mutual
interest.
During the consultative meeting, Cooperation Program between the
Government of Mongolia and the Government of Israel in the fields of education, culture, science and sport for 2022-2025 was
signed. Moreover, a Memorandum of
Understanding was signed between the
Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of Mongolia and the National Administration of Israel.
