Prime Minister of Mongolia Meets Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea

Ulaanbaatar, January 18, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai met with Han Duck-soo, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea on January 17, 2024, during the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.
Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai expressed his pleasure to meet with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo again after his Official Visit to the Republic of Korea last year, and emphasized that friendly relations and cooperation with the Republic of Korea, Mongolia's important "third neighbor" and strategic partner, are expanding in all areas of mutual interest and are being deeply strengthened on bilateral, regional, and international platforms.

Han Duck-soo praised the start of negotiations on the Economic Partnership
Agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea and the successful
implementation of the project to establish a joint research center for rare
earth metals between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea. In addition, the
parties noted that they are satisfied with the active exchange of citizens of
the two countries, cooperation in trade, economy, and tourism, and exchanged
views on future directions.
