Consultative Meeting Held between Mongolian and Japanese Authorities for Foreign Relations, Security, and Defense Affairs

Ulaanbaatar,2024 March 6/MONTSAME/  The 6th Consultative Meeting between Mongolian and Japanese Authorities for Foreign Relations, Security, and Defense Affairs was held on March 5, 2024, in Ulaanbaatar.

 

At the Consultative Meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on a mutually interested wide range of issues related to regional security, expressing their positions. The parties exchanged information on policies and actions in foreign relations, security, and defense sectors and discussed the outlook of relations and cooperation in the security field of the two countries.

 

Under the peace-keeping concept for development and prosperity, the parties affirmed their commitment to deepen the Special Strategical Partnership for Peace and Prosperity and agreed to continue to develop this productive cooperation. 

 

The Consultative Meeting was attended by Director of the Policy and Planning Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, G. Byambasuren, Director of Strategy Policy, Analysis Department, the National Security Council Secretariat Colonel D.Munkhochir, Director of Foreign Cooperation Department, Ministry of Defense, Colonel T. Narankhuu from Mongolian side and Deputy Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Jinichi Kadowaki,  Senior Coordinator of the National Security Council Kamei J., International Affairs Director of Defense Policy Department of Ministry of Defense of Japan, Miura J.from Japanese side.
