Mongolian-Russian Business Ties Reviving
EconomyUlaanbaatar, April 23, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Business entrepreneurs from Khabarovsk of the Russian Federation held a business meeting with representatives of Mongolian companies and entities on April 23, 2024.
Organized by the Russian Export Center, the visit included representatives from about 30 other companies. Among them were some of the largest manufacturers in the Russian Far East, such as "Vetli Vostok," the largest coffee roaster, "Arcsi Trade," "Baltimore Amur," and "IP Zayats," who all introduced their operations at the meeting.
From the Mongolian side, representatives from companies operating in mining and transport logistics, such as “Landbridge,” “Hurd Huch,” “Khaanbulag International,” “Barilga.mn,” “Goesan,” “Dalai Eej Tour,” and “Bioplas,” participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, the Russian Export Center and the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
“Our goal is to support and develop small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SME development also faces similar challenges and difficulties. We will work together towards our goal,” said Vladimir Biryukov, Head of Public Association of the Khabarovsk for the Asia-Pacific Region.
E. Oyuntegsh, Head of the Mongolian-Russian Business Council, noted that meetings and cooperation between Mongolian and Russian business entrepreneurs and manufacturers are reviving after a temporary decline due to global challenges.
